LATEST FUNDRAISING NEWS  - THE YEAR 4 VEGE-THON

For Year 4's final fund-raiser,  the children will be eating as many vegetarian meals as possible in a week, from Friday 25th June to Friday 2nd July.

This will be tracked on a chart in class. The children aim to eat at least a couple of vegetarian meals at home, and they will be encouraged to choose the vegetarian option for lunch in school.

As the adults of the future, the children are begin to think about how they can help the environment by eating more plant-based foods. As little as once a week can make a huge difference to the level of carbon emissions. We hope that you agree with this and feel happy to support our endeavour.

For our Spring term fundraiser, we aim to raise money by running a read-a-thon in the last week of term. Our aim is to collectively read 5000 pages. If you wish to donate to our cause, please pledge to give a certain amount if we reach our target.

Year 4 have been particularly focussing on animals and their habitats this term and the children are passionate about how we can help preserve and protect the animal kingdom. They discussed and democratically voted between three charities and decided to support all the wonderful work of the RSPCA.
Please help us support this charity.
