YEMEN HUMANITARIAN CRISIS APPEAL · 13 June 2020

Ummah Welfare Trust was founded in 2001 with the goal of challenging the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

Yemen are suffering the largest humanitarian crisis in the world –

The people of Yemen are particularly dear to the heart of the Prophet (saw).

The status of the people of Yemen in the eyes of Allah (swt) should be widely known.

There are so many people suffering in Yemen right now, and it is difficult to imagine the extent of their pain.

With COVID-19 now spreading across the country, Yemen is facing an emergency within an emergency. Sanitation and clean water are in short supply.

Children continue to be killed and maimed in the conflict. Around 2 million children under 5 years old are suffering from acute malnutrition and require treatment.

What will we say to the Prophet (saw) if we did nothing to end the suffering of his people?
