Story
Ykids is working hard during the current crisis to support children and young people in our community.
From delivering food and essential household items to online Kids clubs, an activity website, (www.ykidsonline.co.uk) delivering monthly activity packs to keep them going during the difficult days and even taking presents to children whose birthdays fall in lock down. We are working to stay in touch so that no child feels they are alone.
Just like many small charities across the UK our income has been affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. You can help us to continue to continue to provide vital work by donating to our Ykids 2.6 Challenge.
Each member of the Ykids staff team will be taking on a challenge over the next week.
Claire Morgans - CEO - 26 cakes for key workers Life is just a little bit better with cake! In recognition of the work so many key workers are doing in our community I will be baking 26 large cakes in a day and distributing them to charity workers, care workers, shop keepers, refuse collectors as a way of saying thank you!
Beth Armstrong - Administrator - 26 table top games in 2.6 days Taking gaming to a new level, Beth will be connecting with friends and family, challenging them to play their favourite board and cards games online.
Darran Draper - Enterprise Manager - 26 peg challenge A painful challenge, in which Darran will be attempting to attach 26 pegs to his face - with a film to prove it!
