Our walking buddy and mate, John Andrews, has unfortunately been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer and we decided it would be a great idea for us to run (and trek) from John's favourite pub in our village Braunston in Northamptonshire, to the home of Liverpool Football Club, his beloved football team. 

John has asked that we raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who have helped him since his diagnosis.

Leaving on Easter Monday, 2021, Andy and I will walk the entire way, mainly along the canal, and hopefully will persuade others to join us for parts of it. John hopes to join us for the last mile to Anfield. 

We are aiming to arrive on Saturday the 10th of April, the same day as Aston Villa are due to play Liverpool there.
