The 24 Hour Meditation Challenge will run from 10.30 on Saturday 22nd April to 10.30 on Sunday 23rd April. Everyone is welcome to join in - day or night!
There will always be someone meditating during this time, and everyone - sangha members, regular meditators and public - are invited to come along and join us for as little or as long as they like.
You can meditate for specific length of time (over the whole 24 Hours) and use forms available at the centre to obtain sponsorship for this. Or you can simply drop in as you wish, make a donation and meditate for as long and often as you like.
If you wish to come for a set period of time, there is a sign-up form in the centre, or you can email enquiries@yorkbuddhistcentre.org
The event will also be broadcast on Zoom so others may wish to join in that way and donate online.
Please bring vegan food to share if you wish. There will be soup and toast available and resting facilities will be provided for the early hours.
Please join in with this fun event. Come along and support the appeal and help us to raise over £2000 towards a new Ordination Training Centre for Tiratanaloka.
