As the Treasurer of the York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir I have established this page as 'The Phil' wanted to do something to aid the plight of the millions of Ukranians who's lives have been torn apart by this invasion. We have quickly arranged to give a special concert at the St Michael le Belfrey church in the centre of York at 6.30 pm on Easter Monday 18th April 2022 from which all proceeds (ticket sales and donations) will go direct to the DEC Ukraine Appeal. This is an opportunity for those watching the concert live on line to donate and contribute towards our appeal.

We chose the DEC as their charities and local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries and so know where and how best to deploy resources. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.
