Story
In March 2019, a very close friend of our family Ashley Hill suffered a serious motorcycle accident.
Ashley hit a tree and broke 2 bones in his neck, his ribs, elbow and femur and was unconscious at the scene. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called and within minutes were on the scene to help Ashley. He was flown to Leeds General Infirmary and straight into the operating theatre to repair his broken femur.
Without the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Ashley's story may have been very different and the lives of his family and friends affected beyond repair! The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a charity supported by some incredible volunteers who save lives daily.
It costs the Yorkshire Air Ambulance £12,000 a day to keep it's helicopters maintained and in the air and we want to do what we can to help these amazing people!
On 28 June 2020 we will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks which is 25 miles across 3 of Yorkshire's highest peaks in 12 hours, to raise money for this amazing charity.
Thank you for reading Ashley's story and thank you for any donation you can make, no matter how small, it will make a difference!
