We're Yorkshire Otters and we're looking to raise money for our WaterAid Winnovators project - Hygiene and Sanitation Challenge in India. The Hygiene and Sanitation Challenge is looking at how the disposal of household sanitary napkins, particularly in rural areas of India, poses a challenge for women and girls. Unfortunately, there is no reliable and hassle-free disposal system for sanitary napkins, meaning they often get mixed up in community waste. There is also a lot of stigma and shame associated with the disposal of sanitary products at a household level. 

We're aiming to raise £3,500 towards this project. So over the next few months we will be holding bake sales in our YW offices and taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks on 27th July 2022!
