Story

This year we'll be taking on a two-day Tour de Yorkshire covering 180km across some of Yorkshire's best cycling roads raising money for GroceryAid.

STAGE 1: LEEDS TO SETTLE, 80KM

Start 12pm From Arla | 80km Ride to Settle | Dinner & Overnight Stay in Settle

Join us for a pre-ride lunch at our Arla HQ in Leeds. We’ll then roll out for a warm up along the traffic-free canal path escaping Leeds.

We’ll drop down the Otley Chevin to join some of the best cycling routes in West Yorkshire en route to Bolton Abbey.

From here we’ll skirt past Skipton on quiet country roads. We’ll test the legs with a climb out of Airton before dropping into Settle for the finish of Stage 1 and then fuel up for another big day tomorrow.

STAGE 2: SETTLE TO HARROGATE, 100KM

Start 9:30pm From Settle | 100km Ride to Harrogate | Mid-ride Pub lunch in Burnsall | Cafe stop at Grantley Hall | Dinner & Overnight Stay in Harrogate

We’ll start the stage by visiting our Arla factory in Settle. Climbing out of Stainforth, we’ll take on the infamous Langcliffe Scar.

Take a breather and find time to absorb the stunning views surrounding as you descend into Halton Gill for a fast and flat ride all the way to Burnsall for lunch.

Climb out of Appletreewick via the sweeping ascent of Skyreholme before dropping down Greenhow Hill into Pateley.

A posh pitstop is awaiting us at Grantley Hall so we can fuel up on coffee and cakes for the last blast back to Harrogate.
