Story
In September 2023 I was diagnosed with locally advanced Prostate Cancer aged 48, I was told by a consultant that if I did not have Surgery that the cancer would become incurable. Thankfully that's not how the story Ends, after having Robotic Prostatectomy that same month Literally two weeks after diagnosis , I am 7 Months Post Surgery and now dealing with the aftermath of this disease and let me tell you there is no humility with this disease.
I don't like asking people for money but this is now a cause that is part of me (well the prostate is gone that's not a Part of me any more) but 50p a £ 1 whatever anything you can spare would be amazing
I have decided to take Part In March For Men.
I'm Marching for Men! This June I’ll be taking on a lifesaving walk towards a better future for men. Your donation can make a huge difference to the 1 in 8 men who will get prostate cancer. It could help fund lifesaving research and provide vital support services to men and their families navigating this disease. Know your risk: Prostate cancer is one of the most survivable cancers there is, if you catch it at an early stage. If you’re over 50, if you’re Black, or if your dad or brother had it, you’re at higher risk. Check your risk in 30 seconds: https://prostatecanceruk.org/risk-checker. The earlier it's found, the easier it is to treat.
