Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have decided to ride in support of a Birmingham-based charity named Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer (LFBC). www.lfbc.org.uk Registered Charity Number 1088943.

This local and small charity was established in 2000 and works in partnership with the Queen Elizabeth Cancer Treatment Centre. Its fundraising activity goes directly towards buying new equipment to assist in diagnosis and treatment of cancer as well as further developing the "centre of excellence" that is the Cancer Centre. There is currently a £1 million appeal to fund additional services such as a new patient lounge, hair salon, beauty treatments and bra fitting and mastectomy support.

All the riders have self-funding the £600 team entry and kit purchase to maximise the money we can raise for LFBC. Due to time constraints and family/work life, we are beginning to approaching companies, friends and family to gain financial sponsorship rather than items for raffle.
For our corporate sponsors we will include their company logo on the rear of our Team Jerseys which will be worn by all eight cyclists.
