Sleep Out to Help Out · 23 March 2021

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Imagine your family relationships have seriously broken down, or you have been abused or you are suffering from mental health issues that would only get worse at home. You are forced to leave home and sleep rough, or on different people's sofas, night buses, or with strangers. This is something we cannot completely replicate however we can raise awareness through 'sleeping out' and donating money to Centrepoint. This charity provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment.

You can help by sleeping on something that is not your bed (whether it be on a roll mat in a tent in your garden, or even on your kitchen floor on a blanket). Then it would be great if you could donate to and share this just giving page with friends and family and ask them to either sponsor you, or even better - sleep out themselves and nominate more people!
