Ever thought about running a marathon but it felt out of reach? Then look no further, the Big Marathon Month is for you! Complete the marathon distance of 26.2 miles over June and get your friends and family to sponsor you along the way!

Story

Lil and I have decided to take part in the #BigMarathonMonth to support the work of Emmaus and will complete 26.2 miles throughout the month of June.

We're going to make the most out of our daily exercise during lockdown! (and I need the motivation to get out of the house and she needs to burn off all that sugar energy! :p). There's no bubbles this time, but we could bring our own as we go along!

Emmaus supports formerly homeless people by providing a home, and meaningful work in one of their social enterprises. This meaningful work helps restore the self-esteem that is often lost when a person becomes homeless. There are currently 29 communities across the UK supporting 816 formerly homeless people, known as companions. There are also four Emmaus groups working hard to set up an Emmaus community in their local area.

Currently, all the charity shops are closed, and without this source of income, the communities are in need of the support we can give them.

Please donate as much as you can to our Emmaus #BigMarathonMonth fundraiser and help us raise as much as we can for this Emergency Appeal.

Thank you

Yuen & Lil xx
