Hi Everyone,

It has always been one of my lifelong ambition to one day run a marathon and it would be amazing if I could do so whilst raising money for a worthy cause.

We are privileged to have drinking water from tap on demand knowing that it is safe and clean. Many are less unfortunate and have to go far and wide to find a source meaning that they have to sacrifice their day to day lives in order to do so.

Three children die every minute from drinking dirty water. With reliable access to clean water, thousands of lives could be saved each day.

Thanks to Penny Appeal, I now have the opportunity to take on the biggest challenge of my life. I hope to run 26.2 miles at the 2019 London Marathon with Penny Appeal in aid of their Thirst Relief  campaign.

Crossing the finish line after 26.2 miles will be one of my greatest achievements, but I need your help to get me there. I hope to fund the construction of an entire water well that will serve a community day in, day out, providing them with fresh, clean water. We all know that water is an essential need but as well as being integral to stay hydrated, it is also indispensable to feed livestock and other animals so a regular source of income can be maintained, paving the way for the freedom of self-sufficiency we take for granted. Penny Appeals Dig Deep campaign aims to provide safe, clean drinking water for children, families and the elderly living in Africa.
