Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

'When I was your age...' Was one of my Dad's favourite sayings when it came to talking to me about his sporting achievements in his youth and those of you who knew him well will know he thought he was a gold medalist Olympian at the majority of them. He was always 'game' to try a new sport, hence why we have numerous bikes, a windsurfer, rugby shirts, a wetsuit, cycling kits, brand new skis, the list is endless...

Being his daughter I have inherited his deadly competitive streak along with his height making his 25+ year old pride and joy road bike perfect for me to partake in a London to Brighton, just like he did numerous times.

A nice little challenge of 54miles from London to Brighton on the 8th September, a week before his 60th Birthday. I would hugely appreciate any sponsorship you would be willing to donate as it is going to the great cause of ‘The Stroke Association’, advancing research, treatment and care into strokes and for stroke sufferers.
