Story

HI the reason for doing this challenge is in memory of my DAD also in support of my friends DAD Harry also my friends MUM Marjorie they live ever day like lockdown Dementia takes away memory of special family times not only for them but also their family that cant be put back its gone for ever we all have missed that loving hug with family over lockdown think of that forever then you get a look into a day in the life of Dementia its heartbreaking this illness please help me support this charity and raise needed funds to help support our loved ones thank you please donate to this amazing charity xxx

This challenge suits everyone, so get your family and friends involved too! Together you’ll discover all the ways to hit 850,000 steps. Achieve 9,400 steps a day for 3 months by heading out on long treks, dancing or even hoovering your way to the distance.

Step Up for Dementia is a great way to support people living with dementia, while ticking off a big goal in 2021.

It’s completely free to sign up and if you raise £100 for Alzheimer’s Society, you’ll receive a medal in the post. Raise £300 and we’ll send you an Alzheimer’s Society t-shirt as a thank you for your support.
