I’m proud to be fundraising for Mission: Water – a UK water industry campaign in support of WaterAid.

The UK water industry founded WaterAid in 1981 to respond to the global water crisis.

Together, they’ve made great progress in the last 40 years to bring clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere.

But there’s still more to do.

703 million people in the world - almost one in ten – don’t have clean water close to home.

And 1.5 billion people – almost one in five – don’t have a decent toilet of their own.

By working together, we can make progress. We can and will change normal for everyone, everywhere.

But there’s still more to do.

Through Mission: Water we’re continuing this work to ensure that everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.
