Solar water wells and livelihoods in Pakistan
Since it is Ramadan I will double any money that you give from my own pocket and I will do it in your name not my own so you get the reward. As you can see from the hadith below the reward for the fasting person is over 700 times already. So this will make it over 1400 times the normal reward inshallah.
I will also cover all my own expenses. I won't use anything from the donations
The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Every deed of the son of Adam will be multiplied between ten and seven hundred times. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, said: Except fasting. It is for Me and I shall reward for it. He gives up his desires and his food for My sake.”

A fifth of diseases in Pakistan are associated with poor sanitation and water quality. In the fifth largest desert of the world, Tharparkar, the constant search for water takes up to several hours a day in the blazing heat where women and little children struggle to get contaminated water from dried up wells. The same water which has caused the deaths of 1000’s of children in Tharparkar.
To overcome the water scarcity issue, I am fundraising with Human Appeal to implement an advanced solar power water well. Using solar energy, the water pump works around the clock to store sufficient water in the storage tank so the communities have 24 hour access to water in abundance, not only meeting their drinking needs but also for their domestic usage and livestock.
Water supply lines are also installed extending access to the solar water pumps by supporting distant households with piped water access to their doorsteps. In addition to this, Human Appeal also provides communities with the agricultural tools, on farm trainings and climate smart agricultural seeds/inputs using the water from the solar wells to grow local vegetables and establish domestic kitchen gardens to meet their nutritional and dietary needs, thus saving hundreds of innocent lives dying from malnutrition each year.
A pair of milking goats will also be provided to widowed women in the village along with organised livestock management training, deworming and vaccination of livestock and fodder will also be provided.
In addition, Human Appeal will install solar street lights to support villagers with improved visibility in nights contributing towards their enhanced safety and security and reducing incidents of violence/harassment towards women, young girls and children. Moreover, for improving health and hygiene and eliminating open defecation
£35,000 will transform an entire village suffering from years of water scarcity by bringing sustainable water, innovative farming training and livestock to a whole community, providing all the tools they need to thrive.
