Event: NHS COVID-19 charity marathon
NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

My name is Zacchaeus and I am eight years old. I love athletics, especially running. My best running distances are 800m and one mile.

Now, going back to Covid19. I keep hearing about all of these deaths, but as children, my friends and I feel helpless. So the one thing I can do to raise money for the NHS, is to run this marathon.

Of course at my age I can't run a full marathon at once, so I will split it up into a 5.2k every day for eight days, starting on Good Friday (10th April). Because my dad is a personal trainer, we are fortunate enough to have our own treadmill so that is what I will be using to run my marathon.

Please give what you can. Thank you.
