Zac Rees is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Zac's Hair Raising Appeal · 31 May 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

A big high five for visiting my page! Whether you know me from school, Wicked Cookies or TMB, I would be so grateful if you could help me raise money for The Little Princess Trust.

I have been growing my hair for the last couple of years and it's now 12 inches long! I started off growing it because I hated having my hair cut, but after a while I decided to carry on growing it so that it could be cut and donated to the Little Princess Trust - they'll turn my cut hair into a fabulous wig for a child who's lost theirs whilst battling an illness.

The wigs cost £550 to make and are then donated for free to a child that needs one to help restore their confidence and identity. It might seem like a small thing, but a wig like this will make a massive difference to a child having to go through the physical and emotional struggle of chemotherapy.

As soon as we've raised the £550, I will have my hair cut and the braids will be donated along with the money raised.

About the Little Princess Trust:
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
