Story
Update: we have been so overwhelmed by everyone's generosity...we'd like to see if we can raise £1,000 by this weekend. Please continue to share with anyone who may like to help the little Princess Trust!
Message from Sumayya: Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved having long hair (I wanted it to be as long as Rapunzel’s and hated trimming even the smallest amounts off!).
Now I want to give another child the chance to feel like a princess by donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust. I’ve been inspired to do this by my best friend who donated her hair to a few weeks ago, and by Jessica, my teacher’s daughter whose own beautiful hair fell out as a result of illness.
Children who lose their hair to cancer are beautiful and strong, but a wig can help them feel better about how they look and I want to help make this happen.
If you can donate just £1 (of course you can donate more and it would be much appreciated!) then share my campaign with all your friends and family asking them to do the same, I’m hoping we can reach our target quickly and altogether. I would be so happy if we can reach the £550 and I really think we can!
Thank you so much!!
Sumayya
From the charity: When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
