.‎ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
‎ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون 

My beloved cousin, Faizan Shahid, has returned to our Lord on Saturday 30th January, after succumbing to COVID-19 at the young age of 32. Faizan was a loving, caring man, the heart of our family, who always put others first.

We will be honouring his memory by raising money to establish Sadaqah Jariyah in his name. We will be collecting money to distribute free Qurans in The Gambia, in particular the villages where they are required the most. Inshallah each time someone reads the Quran, Allah will bless Faizan with rewards in the hereafter. 

Each Quran will cost approximately £3.50. Please donate whatever you can even if it is one Quran.100% of your donations will be used to purchase the Qurans.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah; knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him “ (Muslim).
