The Crisis that surrounds us and our fight against it :
This campaign is to project the voices of those who are kept silent.
Despite Coronvirus being such a prevalent issue in our everyday lives, this shouldn't divert our attention away from those already in vulnerable positions who are in desperate need of humanitarian aid.
I am standing alongside Human Appeal to battle the crisis our world faces daily, by providing food, water, and medical aid to those in need:
- Yemen is crippled by six years of conflict, famine, and disease with over 24 million people needing urgent humanitarian aid
- Syria has millions displaced due to the nine-year-long conflict.
- Gaza in Palestine, according to the United Nations could become uninhabitable by the end of 2020.
- Iraq continues to experience an unstable and critical humanitarian situation with 6.7 million people needing immediate assistance.
- Rohingya refugees, described by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as the most discriminated people in the world.
To put it into perspective a large donation such as:
£100 - Could provide a vulnerable family with immediate food, clean water, and necessary medical aid.
£70 - Can keep a family of five well-fed for a whole month with a nutritious food parcel.
However, any donation no matter the scale could mean the difference between life and death, in the first and most vulnerable moments during an emergency, for a family who has lost everything.
