Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

hi my name is Zak i am a fusilier currently serving with 2rrf,

2009 was a year that changed our family for ever, my brother Sgt Simon Valentine was killed in afghan, he left behind a wife gemma and two beautiful girls chantelle and niamh, our mum carol who lots of you know started fund raising in his memory, one of the charities we worked closely with is the Forces Childrens Trust, from the moment we made contact with its founder Denny Wise he was supportive he helped with the girls and although nobody could stop the pain or replace what happend to their daddy, Forces Childrens Trust helped to put a smile back on the faces of my lovely nieces, and two years on still give them full support and help try and heal the pain, nothing can repay Denny for the work he does with our fallen heroes children, the forgotten victims of war but by fundraising we can hopefully show our thanks for the hard work and help Denny to put the smile back on other children who sadly suffer in this way, i am taking part in a ten man team to raise funds for the trust please can i ask you to consider donating thank you for listening.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
