Story

Hello,

I’m sorry to bug you all straight after the London marathon and have left this all rather last minute as I’ve been burying my head in sand. However I am in fact running the Beachy heads marathon next weekend (along the white cliffs of Dover) - I have done minimal, minimal training - I can count the amount of runs I’ve done in September on one hand. So at this point - I’m quite literally praying just get over those rolling hills in one piece!

However I will give it my all - as I’m running for a very special lady. My best friend lost her extraordinary Mummy a year and a half ago, which still feels like yesterday. Juj was a second mum to me and I was one of so many that were impacted profoundly by her love. Juj’s relentless passion for bettering the world we live in and time spent helping those battling with mental health was a lesson to us all.

The Juliet Garmoyle fund, which partners with place2be is an extraordinary cause - helping improve the quality of mental health services within schools to better support those in need. I’ve set myself for a rather big challenge, both physically and mentally - so any donations would be hugely appreciated ❤️
