I ran the Herts 10K race for the first time 2 years ago. The race happened to be just a few days after my mum had passed away in October 2013. I didn't think I would do it, let alone complete  it, especially as it was a terrible rainy and muddy day. I did finish though and felt proud and the spirit of my mum kept me going right through to the end! I am having another go, in my memory of my mum, June Marshman and I hope that I can raise more money again for a local charity to me  - Grove House (part of Rennie Grove Hospice Care). They provide care and support to patients with life limiting illnesses locally around Herts and Bucks.
