Welcome and thank you for visiting our page! We (Karen, Clare, Emma, Kelly, Keri, Tami, Trudy and Chloe  - pictured in a less challenging ibiza style party environment), have committed to climb stunning Snowdonia at night in May! 😀We fancied a challenge and also wanted to give something back and the Sands Sunrise Hike felt like the perfect one for us. 

Why..? In July 2015, Clare had her first baby, a beautiful little boy called Zayn. After a text book, problem free pregnancy and labour, during the final stages of delivery Zayn’s heart stopped and the medical team were unable to resuscitate him. Suddenly what was about to be her happiest moment became the saddest. Clare’s mum (Karen) and partner Yas were there throughout and were all left numb and speechless. Clare said it is something she will never understand or get over but it’s made her see things in a new perspective and that she has her beautiful boy Zayn to thank for that. We will all be completing this challenge in his memory 💙

Since then we have completed various activities to raise funds and help others who are unfortunate enough to be in this club that nobody wants to be a member of. But we have never taken on a challenge quite like this! So wish us luck, give us your support by helping us raise awareness of Sands, and most importantly remember all the babies that have left us too soon like Zayn ⭐️
