Zelda's Cape Wrath Trek

Cape Wrath Challenge · 24 May 2022 to 26 May 2022 ·
At Aviva, we recognise that strategic partnerships with trusted organisations are vital to meeting our sustainability ambition to act now on climate change and help build stronger communities. Our global charitable partnership with WWF focuses on working to build a future where people and nature thrive. Together we have the reach and influence to help re-imagine and start to reorient the way financial services function in a sustainable economy.
Sustainability is part of the very fabric of business at Aviva. Climate change and its implications for customers, our business, for society, and in particular for our natural world, is the greatest challenge facing us all.
Together we’re acting on climate change to build a better tomorrow.
Being a part of WWF’s inaugural Chairman’s Challenge – the Cape Wrath trek is such an honour for me. I’m very excited to be meeting new people, testing my stamina, and seeing such an unspoilt corner of the UK.
About the hike
Our adventure will include over 32 Miles (50km) of trekking over two demanding days through this spellbinding landscape, traversing the rocky ridge of the majestic hill of Foinaven, camping out under the stars, and finishing at the Cape Wrath lighthouse on the most north-westerly point on mainland Scotland (and perhaps a midge or two along the way!).
Matched Funding
I am delighted and grateful that AVIVA have agreed to match fund all donations to this page.
