The Robin Hood Mile Challenge · 29 September 2018
We're walking a mile for Zephyr's - hoping to raise money to support the centre as it continues to support bereaved parents and families, like ours...
We've been totally humbled to watch the centre grow since it opened a little over a year ago - to witness how many people it has supported, and see what it's done for folk, what it keeps on doing is amazing - we really feel that Zephyr's centre is giving a place for grieving families (within a society that struggles to give space/a place for the grief of a baby or child) - we're so proud of what is happening and of all who have made this happen.
And... we thought we'd try and raise a few pennies too.
It's nearly 2 years since we last did a sponsored walk for the centre - at that time Zephyr's little bro had only just started walking and we had to carry him around! This time we're hoping he'll find his own way, and that others might join us too...
However you can help, whether you can join us for the walk, or would like to show us your support by donating here, please know that we're so very grateful.
Zephyr's is part of Nottingham Hospitals Charity, and we run entirely donations, offering bereavement counselling, a supportive homely space for appointments, lots of resources and drop in activities for all ages totally for free - and all because of walks and sponsored events like this!
Thank you for reading,
Carly, Martin and Sol x
