I am raising money in aid of a Malawi Education Initiative which aims to enhance the educational opportunities in the Zomba district of Malawi. Thus far the initiative has raised over £100,000 and has helped improve ICT infrastructure, electrical supply, educational resources, sports equipment and has helped a number of Malawians to visit UK on an educational exchange. The money I raise aims to build a new primary teacher training facility which is hoped to reduce the acute teacher shortage in the Zomba area of Malawi.
