Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control I am unable to take part in this years GNR. 

But help comes when you need it most and I’m happy to say that Evie’s guardian and my brother from another mother Scott Taylor-Smith has stepped up and is running in my place - make no mistake he hasn’t got long to train but his love for his god daughter and me will get him to the end.

As you may or may not know my vibrant beautiful little girl got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes recently and nearly succumbed to this horrible disease. 

As her dad I have a duty to protect and support her no matter what and therefore I have decided to run The GNR for Evie and Diabetes UK. Most of you will know this is a massive challenge for me but knowing what my daughter faces everyday of her life now and how she has taken to this life changing prognosis will give me the motivation to succeed. I hope you all contribute in your own little way and look out for me at the finish line 🏁.
