Zinu Philipose has been working at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust since 2016.

As part of my work here, I frequently come across people(with and without families) in difficult circumstances and housing in a permanent or even a temporary accommodation remains a major issue which negatively impacts on their overall health and well-being


Myself and two other Gastroenterology colleagues Dr Ashok Iyer and Dr Mike Mendall are riding to support the Rainbow Centre which supports people experiencing homelessness in Croydon.

Croydon has also been a centre for refugees fleeing war from around the world. They arrive with nothing and have poor language skills leading to unsettled lives and poor health.

The Rainbow Centre attached to Croydon University Hospital  tries to repair this. 

We are raising money to provide books, and toys, tables and chairs for children and clothes and shoes for all ages, and lice combs and thermometers
