Story

Stuart, Haroon and I thought it would be great to raise funds for local charity Myton Hospice and what better way than taking part in their Zip Wire challenge across Ricoh Stadium this summer! 😲

We may be slightly mad planning to do this and for some it will face their fears but it's for a worthwhile cause so please support us in trying to raise as much as we can for the charity.
Any donation will be gratefully appreciated

Myton Hospices aim is to raise £40,000 at their first ever Zip Wire! This will help ensure The Myton Hospices can continue to provide its services free of charge to people with a terminal or life limiting illness, and their families, when they need it most. This year they have to raise £9.6million of the £12.3 million they need, they can't do it without support from people like me and you.

Myton Hospice provide specialist care and support across Coventry and Warwickshire.
They believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; they focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. They are leaders in compassionate end of life care; their work centres on patient wellbeing and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly they give patients more quality time with their loved ones.

£50 covers the cost of two hours specialist nursing care
£175 is the upkeep cost of relatives accommodation for a week so families can be close to their loved ones in their final days and hours
£460 will fund an inpatient bed for one day so people can spend quality time with loved ones
£2000 would buy a patient a specific recliner chair to enable patients to spend time out of bed and help them to live well for longer with a terminal illness.
