Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm not much of a runner, truly. Having only ever run previously because I was being chased, this is my thank you to rugby.
In 2016 I broke my sternum playing rugby, after a few years trying to get over the injury I eventually had to give in and give up playing rugby as I could no longer handle the chronic pain. Since then I have tried to find a sport or hobby that didn't aggravate the impact damage which is why I have taken to running.
I'm not great, and it still hurts but I am determined to continue to better myself and benefit others with persistence and pain management. If you have any spare change please donate it to this worthy cause, running for the Injured Rugby Players Foundation is my way of giving back to the most amazing community of people, it's where I met all of my best friends who looked after me and still do.
