Story
Last year a wonderful lady called Doreen Morris watched the London Marathon on the TV and said that she was surprised that I hadn't been daft enough to enter a marathon yet!
So, I was daft enough to enter and some how I got a place.
Then I realised I really did have to run 26 miles. EEK! So i'm hoping to raise loads of money for charity.
I DID IT!
Wooohoooooooo, thanks so much for all the support that helped me run / jog / plod the 26.2 miles on Sunday. My position was 17726 and my time was 4 hours 35 mins. It was an amazing experience and i am still able to walk :) Can not wait to collect the rest of my money and take the pennies to the babies!!!
THE BULL
Huge, huge thanks to all at the Bulls Head in Stalybridge - the sponsor form is looking awesome!!! :)
(Awaiting total :)
BROADOAK PRIMARY SCHOOL:
Wooohhooooo, let the kids (and staff) wear their own clothes for a day and LOVE the results...... £500 and counting from school. Well done and thanks for the support from work :)
PARTY PARTY PARTY:
Huge thanks to all those who attended the Marathon party in March, a much more exciting way to raise £1500 than a conventional sponsor form!!
1st MILLBROOK BP SCOUTS SPONSORED MARATHON:
Well done to all the beavers, cubs, scouts, leaders and their families for their efforts this Sunday. Over 80 people showed up to join in the challenge for each team to complete a marathon.
We walked 18 MARATHONS between us in 4 hours!!
£200 and counting - WOWZERS!
My chosen charity is Tameside Special Care Baby Unit - Fund 901.
The money I raise will go towards helping the teeny tiny babies and their families. It might go towards up dating and replacing equipment, buying toys for siblings, refreshing the parents rooms or much more.
I went to visit some of the babies on the Unit at Tameside and was so very pleased that I chose this charity, I can't wait to raise them some pennies :)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
