I am doing this walk for St Giles Hospice  as it provides such vital support in our local community.

In particular their Specialist Women’s Cancer Support Service is very close to my heart. Having lost two special Aunties way too young to cancer I am well aware how crucial the right end of life care is to those affected as well as their families.

In the last year both my mum and a close friend were diagnosed with breast cancer. St Giles not only provides support for the terminally ill but also women living with cancer, at any stage of their journey. Having seen how tough this journey can be I know only too well how invaluable these services are.
