SimplyHealth Great North Run 2018 · 9 September 2018 ·
12 step recovery gave me my mum back and is why my little boy has a wonderful Granny! The Road to Recovery Trust supports people recovering from all sorts of addiction problems - drugs, alcohol, gambling, overeating, co-dependency, emotional dysfunction- through 12 step abstinence fellowships - AA, NA, GA, OA, CODA, EA and more. It provides help for mums and dads to get to meetings, offers help with finances, training and employment and as many ways as possible to help people get well and get back to normal living and family life.It offers an alcohol drug behavioural and other addiction free environment - for safe easy socialising - a place where the young and not-so-young can hang out, watch football and listen to music without putting themselves at risk! The Road to Recovery Trust receives no taxpayer money and expects to be self sufficient in the next year or three - please help them get there!” Thanks 💕
