My name is Dexter, I am almost 5 years old. I enjoy singing and dancing and pretend play amongst lots of other things. I also have Down Syndrome. 

Playskill is a charity which provides free speech and language, occupational and physio therapies for preschool children with disabilities in Hertfordshire. Their strategic and professional way of working means children can achieve and flourish. For instance Playskill would share every assessment and related targets with my nursery which meant I could work on things like fine motor skills regulaly. I am now classroom ready and Playskill really helped me get to this point! 

Playskill also provide free training for adults on subjects such as makaton sign language, EHCP writing and toilet training. 

Parties, trips and coffee mornings are also some of my favourite things to do with Playskill.

Overall, I would not be where I am without Playskill and my mum has made lifelong friends and an invaluable support network.
