The Lord`s Taverners is the UK`s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity.

Their mission is to give a 'sporting chance` to those in need. The charity focus on cricket in disadvantaged areas and sports and recreational equipment for young people with disabilities and special needs, including specially adapted minibuses. 

Throughout 2010 The Lords Taverners  is celebrating its diamond jubilee and aims to raise an additional £500,000 to commemorate their 60 years.

£10 will allow the Lords Taverners to provide a set of sensory play bean bags for use by children with special needs.

£50 will amount to a set of wheelchair clamps for one of the specially adapted minibuses. The Lords Taverners aim to give away 1 specailly adapted minibus almost every week! How impressive is that?

I know how much running means to me, think how much this equipment means to the children, enabling them to enjoy sport.
