I am a midwife and will be working with Health Poverty Action in Sierra Leone. This has been made possible through the Vodafone Foundation World of Difference Programme. Sierra Leone currently has the highest maternal and infant mortality rates in the world. I am working to train midwives, support and train other maternity health workers and work with Traditional Birth Attendants to improve health for women and babies.
