Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I am taking on the challenge of running/walking/hobbling the Hackney Half Marathon this May in support of RNIB! RNIB is the UK's leading sight loss charity and does amazing stuff to support blind and partially sighted people.

I have worked at RNIB for over 2 years now and see first hand the impact sight loss can have on an individual. RNIB provides vital practical and emotional support at point of diagnosis, works to empower blind and partially sighted people to live independently and campaigns relentlessly for a society that includes them as equal citizens.

Any amount you give really will make a difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people - so do something good today and hit donate!
