Liverpool John Moores Machu Piccu 2020 · 31 August 2020 ·

Liverpool John Moores RAG are supporting The Children's Society this year by offering students the chance to take on the Machu Picchu Trek in 2020. Their fundraising efforts will help make sure no child feels alone.

Story

I'm trekking for 6 days along the Salkantay trail to reach the ancient city of Machu Picchu in Peru with my university. I will climbing to an altitude of 15,000 feet, going to great lengths to support the most vulnerable children in our country. The Children’s Society work to prevent sexual exploitation, end child poverty, help children access the mental health support they need, help with substance abuse, stop criminal exploitation, help find missing children, help young refugees and young carers.  Please support my challenge, to create a country where children are free from disadvantage and access the help they need. Every little helps! Thank you :)
