Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon to support The Elizabeth Coteman Fund, an outstanding local charity that is working to tackle the worst effects of pancreatic cancer, which has the highest mortality rate of any of the leading cancers.

The first I heard of pancreatic cancer was the death of my favourite actor Patrick Swayze, then a friend was diagnosed and soon after an uncle....

The Fund is fighting to mitigate some of the huge challenges faced by those with the disease (and their families) as well as helping to find solutions for future sufferers through support for research. Their services include the provision of financial, practical and emotional support and advocacy for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. The demand for these services is growing rapidly and your support for my marathon will allow more individuals and families to benefit.

Thank you!
