Over 100,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I know I hound everyone for money for charity all the time these days, but don't act like you don't get your money's worth..

I plan on running not one, but TWO half marathons in March and then May 2015 (because a full marathon all in one is just too much..) to raise funds for the MS Society.

MS, or multiple sclerosis, is a neurological disease that affects the nerves. No one really knows the cause, nor the cure. All that can be offered for sufferers is treatment and support. The MS Society helps fund research projects, as well as offering help and support for people with MS all across the country.

Unfortunately, in 2007 I lost my mother to MS, and since then I have been inspired by her to push myself to raise money for this incredible charity. Seeing what MS can do to a person and their family is not something I want anyone to go through ever, EVER again.

So please, dig deep, donate those pennies, and I promise to make a fool of myself in trainers.
