Story

Zoey the Boston Terrier is a true Key West local. She lives a happy, easy going life, loves to indulge in the island’s food scene and go to local events with her friends and family. She enjoys meeting new friends, works hard(ish), and is always well dressed.

The 8-year-old Fresh Water Conch’s favorite past times are morning walks, afternoon siestas, happy hour bar hopping, and dining out at the island’s awesome al fresco restaurants. Some of this foodie’s favorite dishes are lamb chops from Viv, skirt steak from Onlywood Grille, bacon from Mary Ellen’s, meatballs from Old Town Tavern, and grilled chicken from Hard Rock Cafe.

One of Zoey’s most loved indulgences is feasting on anything from the Cheese Lover's at the Waterfront Farmer's Market with her Uncle Rob and Aunt Sandy. A roll in the grass at the Waterfront Park after a cheesy meal is the best difestif.

Like many Key West locals, Zoey’s favorite outfit to wear is a tutu, and she has a full wardrobe to celebrate every season. Zoey loves to kayak, play ball, and hang out on a sandbar - running and partying until she has to pass out. Every once in a while she tries to help out the concierge at Old Town Manor, but ends up just distracting everyone with her snores.

Zoey’s mom, Kim, is a long time SPCA supporter. She donates regularly and participates in many SPCA events.

Vote for Zoey! But even if she doesn’t win this contest, she will always be a Queen.  Thank you for helping me raise money for the homeless animals of the Florida Keys SPCA. Your donation will help save thousands of lives each year and I am grateful for your support!
