Zonta Southbank Velodrome Challenge · 12 May 2013

With our support, children and young people improve their wellbeing, re-engage with school and learning, build networks and access opportunities. We're the charity behind the award-winning Teens and Toddlers programme.

Story

In celebration of Zonta Southbank’s 1st Anniversary - we are hosting a cycling challenge at the venue of the 1948 London Olympics - Herne Hill Velodrome on Sunday 12th May (re-scheduled due rain - now 9 June) 2013 for our sponsored charity, Teens and Toddlers.

Teens & Toddlers inspires young people to achieve the skills, qualifications and self belief they need to succeed in education and life. It provides an early intervention programme that targets two sets of children, at-risk teenagers and vulnerable toddlers. Teens & Toddlers is designed to raise the aspirations of at-risk teenagers, through an innovative programme for teens to act as role models to vulnerable toddlers in a safe nursery environment.
