Hedgehogs are in decline & need our help. Hedgehog Awareness Week is one of the ways that the British Hedgehog Preservation Society tries to bring the plight of the hedgehog to the attention of the public and media. Please see their website www.britishhedgehogs.org.uk for lots of free downloadable leaflets & posters on how to help hedgehogs. It would be wonderful if you could arrange a display in your local area for Hedgehog Awareness Week (3rd to 9th May 2020). BHPS can provide display materials if needed. If you're able to, please do arrange an event, perhaps a coffee morning or a second-hand clothes sale during the week to raise funds for BHPS - again BHPS can provide posters & leaflets for you to display & distribute. If possible, you can donate to their 2020 Awareness Week Appeal - they rely on donations & supporters so are always extremely grateful for your consideration.
