Event: Schnauzerfest Walks The Globe 2020, on 31 December 2020
We're attempting a huge challenge, to collectively walk around the world (virtually) to spread the word about Schnauzerfest and our work with rescue dogs. We'd love you to pledge to walk with us and donate towards our fundraising.

Story

WHAT & WHY:

With annual SCHNAUZERFEST walks cancelled this year I want to support raising funds for this charity to raise awareness about puppy farming,  to support dogs rescued from puppy farms and to change people's perception of adopting a dog.

SCHNAUZERFEST  is a charity where no one is paid for work done, all money raised is spent to support dogs.

Since lockdown introduced in UK and more people working from home demand for puppies grow significantly (166% increase of phrase "buy a puppy' on google) and so did prices.

This is a golden opportunity  for puppy farmers, that's why raising awareness about cruel realities of puppy farming is very impotrant- always, but especially now.

I pledged to walk 300 miles in the dates between 01.10-31.12.20 with aim to raise £200 for SCHNAUZERFEST.

My walk will virtually take me from Southampton to Keswick in Lake District National Park, or it's like walking from my hometown (Częstochowa, Poland) to Warsaw - and back.

I will be grateful for every support, so if you have a spare pound found on  the back of your sofa... well, you know what I'm asking for...

Thank you for reading.

Can you walk a few, or even better, a lot, of miles to support rescue dogs and raise awareness of puppy farming? It doesn't matter how many, or when, you walk them between October and December 2020. You can do them every now and then, every week or every day. What matters is that you pledge your miles, so that together, by 31st December, we will have collectively have walked all the way around the world - all 24,901 miles!Donations are being collected on this page to support our challenge. Please donate if you can. As always with Schnauzerfest, every penny you donate goes towards helping dogs in need. You can read the 'Dogs we've helped' stories on our website to read about the many schnauzers whose lives have changed from the kind donations from our supporters. So, visit www.schnauzerfest.org to join in from wherever you are, and share your pledge asking others to join in and donate on this page. Together, Schnauzerfest will Walk The Globe to make a BIG difference for the dogs!
