Story

Hello - my names Zowie. I love swimming outdoors. So why not raise some money whilst doing so.I am challenging myself to swim 2 mile in the Serpentine, Hyde Park London in aid of an amazing charity - Support 4 Sight.

This is my second year raising money for Support 4 Sight, and I am honoured to be asked to swim for them again.

Support 4 Sight Essex assists people in maintaining their independence and quality of life. Their aim is to support local people throughout Essex to cope positively with their sight loss.Their wonderful team also works to prevent avoidable sight loss and to raise awareness of the reality of living with sight difficulties.

From the age of 16 I was identified as having the beginnings of cataracts in both eyes - and a torn retina in my right eye. Now 28 I have to keep on top of my eye health and ensure that I keep up to date with checks. However some people are not as lucky as me and suffer daily with loss of vision or visual impairment.

So that is where Support 4 Sight come in to help. Please dig deep and give generously to an amazing charity.

Lets go swimming!
