<p>This is my friend Romeo. Romeo is a darling 5 year old boy who has had such a difficult start in life. Romeo was born with a heart defect that has meant that he has spent too much of his little life in hospital.</p>
<p>Shooting Star Chase is a childrens hospice that Romeo visits. Their aim is to make evrey day count for local families with a child not expected to reach their 19th birthday. Due to his specialist care requirements Romeo has never been swimming. Thanks to Shooting Star Chase, Romeo is going swimming for the first time next week. I can not tell you how excited that little boy is to do something so simple that we all take for granted. It breaks my heart.</p>
<p>For those of us who are parents, I think you'll all agree that I can not bare to even imagine how truly devestating and heartbreaking it must be to care for a terminally ill child. To know that Shooting Star Chase are helping Romeo and his friends lead as normal a life as possible and providing support and respite for his mother whilest struggling for funding has made me determined to raise as much money as possible for such a truly deserving charity. The hospice receives no guaranteed government funding and needs to generate £23,000 in charitable donations every day just to continue with their vital work.</p>
<p>Please, please can you sponsor me and help me to make a differrence to the lives of these children and there families.</p>
